Danielle and I found each other later in life after previous marriages. We persevered and found each other. We are devoted to each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting Bob and Danielle in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
After numerous dates with others, we were each ready to give up but agreed on one last date through a web service. We met for a delightful lunch and then spent the afternoon together and that turned into dinner. We had finally found someone we could each actually talk with and who we could share our own thoughts, experiences, opinions and memories without being judged. It’s so enjoyable to sit together almost ten years later and candidly chat over morning coffee with someone we each care for.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have enjoyed trips to different areas of the South and toured wine country here (yes, such places DO exist!) and we do love driving in the mountains in my classic car, but primarily we enjoy conversation at the coffee table or in our garden. I describe that as “figuring out how to fix the world “. We are off to our first trip to Italy together in a month and will be ( of course) touring the wine country. I expect we will enjoy that as a fond memory for years to come. Hey, it’s Italy!
What would you do with $20,000?The first thought we both had would be travel. We may be more practical and build a “sleeping porch” into our garden to enjoy the warm southern nights. Is there a “wrong” answer? Probably not.
