Connect How did your love story begin?

Persuasion & persistence, he finally convinced me to go out to dinner with him & what a dinner it was! We had a sweet convo talking about our children, our family, and where we wanted our life to go. We talked about how we both wanted a large piece of property to build a farm, and we now have a 4 acre flower farm that began with a renovation of our 1869 farmhouse and a lot of blood, sweat & tears. Since that first dinner, we’ve been inseparable. BTW, he loves to sing to me, jingles & all!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We built a barn for our wedding in 2021, held our ceremony in it to include all 125 guests! We since completed it with drywall, galley kitchen and restroom. Our community loves it for their small intimate celebrations! Nothing sweeter than finding your forever home and sharing your vows with the people you love in a space that will carry our memories for a lifetime.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are community oriented and are finalizing our ‘first in the community’ coffee flower shop and would love to win the $20,000 to put into this space. We’re an agriculture community and this would help us enhance the grape vines, flowers and community garden we have in mind for this space! We’re also creating a program for graduating seniors who we employ for their next steps towards their career oath - this would be a great enhancement to getting it off the ground!
