How did your love story begin?

I was managing a store in a small Louisiana town and he walked in with his sister and her boyfriend (RIP) and he kept staring at me and I was about to get off so I told the asst mgr to watch him bc I think he's trying to steal bc he's watching me every where I go😆 I went to the store next door and when I came out he was waiting for me to ask me for my number but I told him to give me his number instead and I called him the next day. 25 years later we're still here. We have 3 children

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I would say, what brought us to life in Maryland in the first place, we moved here from Louisiana in 2021 after Hurricane Ida...we started coming to Maryland for my husband's job. We did a lot of hotel living and traveling and being able to venture out and really get to know each other as a couple without children or grandkids around lol.. he'd say Niagara Falls and so many others but Niagara Falls was in the time frame I'm thinking of 😄

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband has been there for our children and everyone else he can make a mark on as a man of God. He has helped me raise 3 children (he has no biological children) and without financial help from me or their father bc he wanted me to be a stay at home mom🙏🏽🫶🏽.. he has knee injury and his day to day life is affected. Since we're from Louisiana we will build a Cajun food business bc we both cook really good. He wants us to do this together , along with our MD living children for our family.
