We were dating since 2014 with a long-distance relationship from India to USA, with lots of huddles and complications we made it succeed.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Our love story began with a simple Facebook poke. We poked each other for a few months before finally having our first conversation on January 14, 2014. We had a mutual friend, but from the moment we started talking, it felt different. We instantly connected, and the more we got to know each other, the more it felt like we were truly meant to be together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? After eight years, our dream finally came true when Sid moved to the USA in 2022. We rented our first apartment and slowly turned it into a home. From late-night shopping trips and decorating together to cooking for each other after busy days, every little moment became a beautiful memory. Those simple days filled with love, laughter, and togetherness will always be among our most cherished memories.
What would you do with $20,000?We love traveling and exploring new places, so we would use part of the prize to create unforgettable memories together through travel. The rest would go toward a project we're passionate about—launching a book for couples that shares experiences, inspires lasting relationships, and helps others celebrate love and connection.
