Me and Zach first crossed paths briefly in 2020 when I was moving back to Iowa, then kept sporadic contact. After leaving an abusive relationship, I saw him live on TikTok and impulsively joined. We ended up live together for over 3 hours and video chatted for 5 more. He was in Massachusetts and I was in Iowa. We talked every day for hours, built trust slowly, and he respected my boundaries as I healed. That connection eventually turned into love and us choosing each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In our favorite memory, I left my town of 1,200 people and traveled from Davenport Iowa: a 3-hour Greyhound to Chicago, 5 hours in the Amtrak station, then a 22-hour ride to Boston. I arrived Dec 18, 2024 at 9:50 pm in pouring rain. Ubers kept canceling, so I called Zach. He and his dad came. His dad went in to get me. Walking out at 10:30 pm, he pointed to a sticker-covered car and said there’s a gift in there. I ran. I kissed Zach before he realized it was me; he jokes he got mugged in Boston.
