How did your love story begin?

Our story began over 30 years ago. We worked in the same building and became friends. He was easy going, easy to talk to and a great listener. He also seemed to show up at the same places where I was. We were both married and were able to talk about some of the issues we were dealing with in our relationships but we were never intimate. We sort of went out separate ways and lost contact for a while until a mutual friend passed away and we both attended. After the service we rekindled as friends.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are many but one that stands out is that there was a blizzard one year, I believe it was our first year as a couple, and all the streets, traffic was shut down so we went to the store and while walking to the store we started playing in the snow in the middle of the street, making snowmen and loving the beauty of freshly fallen snow.

What would you do with $20,000?

God willing if my mental and physical health allows, I'm retiring soon. He is already retired and kisses me in the morning when I leave for work and can roll back over and go to sleep. So jealous, not really I can't wait. Lol. Our plan is to move to Delaware where we can still drive to my family in NY and his family in Virginia Beach, VA so that $20,000 would help us in our relocation and transition. I'm looking forward to our next chapter, spending the rest of my life with the love of my life.
