We’re a true Hinge success story! He asked me out for coffee the morning after we matched on the app. Our first date was at Radio Coffee, and we could’ve talked for hours. He got a black coffee, and I got one of their seasonal matchas that turned out to be this big spectacle of a drink with purple ube whipped cream and everything which we laugh about now. We’ve been inseparable since and just got engaged!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We can both agree that our favorite memory as a couple has to be our trip to New Orleans this past March. We usually always have a jazz, blues, or soul CD playing in the apartment, so experiencing that rich culture in such a tangible way was so memorable for the both of us. I grew up in North Louisiana and he has some French Creole in his blood, so we both fit right into the culture. It truly felt like home for the both of us!
What would you do with $20,000?With a wedding on the horizon, our first thought would of course to put some of it towards that. The majority of the rest would most likely be saved to give our new life together some cushion, but of course we’d keep a few bucks to ourselves to put towards enjoying our new life as newlyweds in New Orleans!
