Connect How did your love story begin?

I saw Willie performing a Junior Brown song in a dive bar. I learned to play guitar just to flirt with him. Long before he knew it, I knew we were meant to be together. Our early years weren’t always pretty, but the trials and tribulations built the foundation we stand on today. Nineteen years, countless miles, endless music, and a whole lot of life later, I’m grateful we chose each other again and again.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We got married in secret at the courthouse, with our son and our best friends as the only witnesses. No big wedding, no fanfare...just us, making it official. That night, we played a packed album release show and surprised our families and the entire crowd with the news. The room erupted. The cheers, the tears, the disbelief...it felt like the roof might come off the place. What began as a quiet moment became a celebration we’ll never forget.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d do what we’ve always done: keep making music together. We’d use the funding to write, record, produce, and release new songs, invest in promotion so they can reach a wider audience, and continue bringing our music directly to listeners through touring. Every dollar would help us create more honest, road-tested country music and sustain the partnership that’s been at the heart of everything we’ve built, both on and off the stage.
