Our story began at work, where I had the biggest crush on Patton. At the time, he was going through a divorce and wasn’t looking for a relationship. Years later, we reunited in a bowling league and became close friends. I made the first move by asking him to shoot pool—even though I didn’t care about pool, I just wanted to spend time with him. Eleven months later, we made it official, and the rest is our forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is from our first trip to Carolina Beach\. While waiting for breakfast at Butts n’ Such, we started playing table football\. We’re both very competitive, so we got completely into the game\. People walking by stopped to watch and said they had never heard of it before\. It was such a simple, funny moment that became one of our favorites\.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we’d put it toward the home we’re building together. It would help us create a strong foundation for our future, especially by installing a fence for our dogs so they have a safe place to run and play. It would give us a huge head start as we begin this exciting new chapter of our lives.
