We first met in Berlin, Germany, in 1993. A cheerleader, and a football player on a German-American football team. We fell in love. But life took us in different directions, and we both spent years trying to make other relationships work. Yet neither of us ever forgot the connection we shared. More than 30 years later, we found each other again. Through faith, patience, and God's timing, we reunited in Tennessee, and finally got the chance to continue the love story that never truly ended.

Our favorite memory is realizing we were finally together again after 32 years apart. Reuniting wasn't a fairy tale—we both carried scars from difficult relationships and had to learn to trust again. But we discovered that we could be completely ourselves with each other. This summer is especially meaningful because family from Germany will visit us, including mother and sister who knew us as a couple back in 1993. Seeing our past and present come together feels like a miracle.

We would use the money to create memories together while we can. Part of it would help us continue building our life and home in Tennessee, but we would also love to travel to Germany and Europe together. Will was stationed in Germany during his military service, and returning there as husband and wife would allow us to revisit the places where our story began in 1993. After waiting more than three decades for a second chance, time together is the greatest gift we could receive.
