At 16 and 17, we met at a rugby summer camp. During a tackling drill, Vivian asked, "Do we have to go down, or can we fight through the tackle?" I (Hannah) was instantly impressed and blurted out, “I like the way you think!” She noticed my name tag and proudly pointed out that both "HANNAH" and "VIVIAN" are made entirely of straight lines. I was sold. Soon texts became calls, calls became committed long distance, and four years later, we still fall in love with each other a bit more everyday.

Our favorite memory is reuniting after I (Hannah) completed Army Basic Training. I came home exhausted, insecure, and completely bald. I had always hidden my ears beneath a full head of hair, and I was worried Vivian would laugh or have no idea how to react. But she embraced me in my uniform, rubbed my shaved head, and cried, “I can finally see your ears.” When I felt least like myself, she didn't focus on what was gone, but found something new to love.

As two college students preparing to graduate soon and begin our lives together, $20,000 would truly be a life-changing gift. It would help us step into our next chapter with greater peace of mind, knowing we could focus less on financial stress and more on building a future together.
