Sitting at my family restaurant on Captiva Island FL when Katherine walked into my life. We had a fun and wonderful evening of conversation and after only 3 hours I asked her to marry me and she said, “why not, we have nothing in common and I’ll never be board!” The next morning, a few hours later, she was on a plane back to Toronto. I’d met this girl, asked her to marry me, she said yes and then left the next morning. I was able to find her and the rest is a very happy story.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have 3 beautiful daughters, 3 great son-in-laws and 4 fantastic grandchildren. Our 48th wedding anniversary is coming in November and we have never had a fight, slammed a door and raised our voices to each other.
What would you do with $20,000?When we retired in 2011, we bought a motorhome and when we sold our home 3 years later we bought the next size up motorhome and we now travel and live seeing America and we would use this money to continue our travels.
