I was a cashier at Thom McAn shoes and Lee walked in to apply for the assistant manager position. I knew he was someone special from the moment I met him. I was a native Floridian and he was from a small town, Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania. We started dating November 17th 1984. Married February 13th 1988. We often get asked how we have stayed together and what is our secret to being so happy. We have 2 beautiful children who married their High school sweethearts too! And a grandson.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We just have so many! We have so much fun from going to antique and thrifting, watching movies, to traveling around to small adorable little towns like Mount Dora. Our favorite time we enjoy is when the kids and their spouses come over and grandson. Hanging out by the pool and cooking on the grill. Our grandson loves steak and hotdogs! We have built such a “Happy Life”. When asked how do we do it I often say be thankful for what you have not what you don’t have. We are truly blessed.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to take a trip with the Family. We don’t often travel too far due to cost, so it would be quite special to enjoy a trip like this with the kids. Life is often busy with work, school and life but we all try to make time to enjoy moments together. This would be a memory of a life time.
