I never thought I’d meet the love of my life at my family reunion. And the funny thing is it’s his family too.. and we aren’t kissing cousins . My grandmother was a doorstep baby, and she was put on his great grandmother’s doorstep with a note asking her to please raise her daughter. She took her in and raised her as a stepsister to Gary’s grandma. 23 years serving in the USAF my Dad and our family returned to Michigan. We were invited to the family reunion. Now it’s going on 53 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories together is running the 45 acres rescue ranch in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. We rescued and rehabilitated alpacas, mini cow, llamas, horses, parrots and an emu named Donk that came from the zoo.
What would you do with $20,000?We love working vacations together so going to the Galapagos for a couple months to study as field scientists and enter our data where Charles Darwin did at his station would check off a bucket list trip! Or a trip to Africa to work with Cheetahs! We love to make our dreams come true!
