We’ve been through a lot in the last few years but haven’t lost sight of how much we care about one another.
We would like to thank you for supporting Tu'Day's in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We went to the same high school but barely ever talked. We ended up working in a grocery store together. We went and got ice cream after Mollie’s cross country meet and kissed in the parking lot of a Steak ‘n Shake and the rest is history. We got married in 2022, 4 days before our 10 year anniversary.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? As cliché as it might sound, our wedding is probably one of our favorite moments as a couple. Our wedding was Halloween themed and was about a week before Halloween. We go to the bar where we got married and the bartender, Corey, still says it’s the best wedding he ever worked. They still hide toy spiders to scare each other at our venue.
What would you do with $20,000?We would buy a new house. We bought our house in 2021 when the market was completely insane. As a result, we had to sacrifice literally every aspect of what we wanted in a home. We needed at least 1200 square feet and we ended up in a home that was only 900. We wanted at least two bathrooms and we only got one. While I could go into the details of everything life has thrown at us since we got married, I’ll say it definitely hasn’t been easy and our saved money as been allocated elsewhere.
