Connect How did your love story begin?

Sometimes the best love stories begin when you’re ready for peace. Tom and I met online in late 2016, both rebuilding our lives and expecting little more than a conversation. We became fast friends, finding laughter again with each other and months later had our first ‘real date’ on Mother’s Day. We never imagined we’d return to that very spot to say, “I do.” We didn’t just find love we found our forevers.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We’ve shared incredible moments including our first anniversary at Château de Chèvre d’Or, valentines days at Tony’s Pizza, baseball tournaments & cheering at Paris Olympics. My favorite is a simple twilight evening wandering up the Champs-Élysées after a day of Olympic events. We were laughing, soaking in the city, while it magically sparkled and we simply enjoying being together. In that quiet moment, we were reminded home isn’t a place, it’s the people you’re walking beside.

What would you do with $20,000?

After years of building our life together, $20,000 wouldn’t change who we are, it would give us room to breathe. We’d use part of it to pay down a few expenses and invest in our home and we’d do what we love most: travel. We’ve learned that our favorite memories aren’t souvenirs, they’re the moments we share exploring new places together. We’d create a few more of those with our teen while we can, because time together is the greatest investment we’ll ever make.
