Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in one of the darkest seasons of my life. After a back surgery, I lost my memory, motor skills, independence, and ability to walk. Then one day, a stranger in Walmart called me breathtakingly beautiful. When I finally shared the truth, expecting him to leave, he said, “I don’t care. I’ll take care of you.” Six years later, I’m walking, healing, and thriving beside the man who loved me when I was broken and never let go.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is the day he asked me to marry him. It wasn’t just the question that made the moment unforgettable—it was everything it represented. By then, he had already loved me through some of my hardest days, seen me at my weakest, and never once made me feel less than. When he got down on one knee, I wasn’t just saying yes to a proposal; I was saying yes to a man who had already proven what unconditional love looks like. In that moment, my heart knew I was home.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were blessed with $20,000, our first priority would be making sure our son can attend college alongside his sister and continue building the future he has worked so hard for. We would also give back to a charity because we believe blessings are meant to be shared. Finally, we would use the remainder to strengthen and support our family, creating stability, opportunities, and lasting memories. For us, it’s not just about the money—it’s about investing in education, generosity, and family.
