Our story began on May 13, 1998. We were both looking for someone to share life with. I (Kathy) use a wheelchair because I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, and I never thought I would find true love. Then I received an email response to my ad on Classifieds2000 through Hotmail. We chatted online and talked on the phone for weeks before meeting in person on June 26. He was three hours late because he traveled the long way around, but after we met, we knew we had found our forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It had been raining and storming the entire weekend we met in person. Saturday night, we were going out with family. As we were leaving, we saw a double rainbow at dusk. We stopped at the end of the driveway, and Troy grabbed his camera to take a picture. As we sat there getting the camera ready, his car slid into the ditch, leaving one rear tire up in the air. Once we calmed down, he helped me out of the car, and my brothers helped with the car. We went on with the night. Instant love.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we would pay off our debt, take a nice vacation, find a new place to live with a small yard for our dogs, and use whatever is left for a down payment on a new accessible vehicle.
