Aron and Tricia first met in the 6th grade in 1995. In 2017, Aron went out on a Saturday, the weekend before St. Patrick's Day, which was unusual since he works on Saturdays, to attend the .1k in downtown Madison, WI. Tricia showed up later with her friend and reconnected with Aron. They spent the night hanging out and talking. Aron asked for Tricia's phone number, and she said she'd go on a date with him if he remembered the night. Luckily, he did, and we were married at 40 years old in 2023!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I think we have different favorites! For Aron, we went to Ibiza in 2017 and met a great friend, Ruben, who owns SUP Ibiza. We go as often as possible and remember how in love we are with each other and Ibiza. For Tricia, it would be an unassuming date night in Charleston, South Carolina, where Aron surprised Tricia with a romantic proposal after dinner at the famed Waterfront Park Fountain!
What would you do with $20,000?Recently, Aron lost his father to a short yet painful illness. We have been working hard, alongside our sisters and brothers, to care for Aron's mother. We would love to help her with daily expenses and ensure her happiness in the future. We also have 2 amazing rescue dogs, Gohan and Trunks, who do not need new balls and treats, but we would give them if we won!!
