How did your love story begin?

​Our love story began as a complicated mess. Tony and my ex worked together, and our families bonded on camping trips before losing touch. After my separation, my dad gave me Tony's number. I waited a year to call. When I did, Tony was also facing a rough marriage. We reconnected as friends, but as he separated, we realized our deep compatibility. We moved in, faced messy divorces, and navigated tough custody battles together. Through all the heavy baggage, our love prevailed.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory will always be our wedding day. After surviving a complicated, messy road and fighting through so much baggage to be together, that day was pure peace. There was no chaos, just intimacy and deep love. It was incredibly special because it was just us, surrounded by the people who matter most: my sister, her partner, and my niece. It was the perfect, quiet culmination of our journey—a beautiful reminder that through it all, our love prevailed.

What would you do with $20,000?

Looking ahead, our next chapter involves tackling two very different priorities. We would love to continue buying parts for the airplane Tony is building, bringing his passion project closer to the sky. However, we might also have to focus on paying off the IRS, thanks to a huge error our tax person made on our 2024 taxes. Whether we are investing in our future dreams or cleaning up a frustrating past mistake, we will handle it just like we always do: side by side, as a team.
