We were aware of one another as we went to the same high school (different years) in a very small North Idaho Town. But it was during a sports tournament that his sister was coaching In and my daughter was playing in that prompted our first exchange of Facebook messages. We set up our first date via those messages but ended up deciding to meet up one snowy night to walk through our beautiful little town while he peeled Mandarin oranges for me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We love the opportunity to take new adventures together. Traveling, hiking, Jeep rides in the mountains, things like that. So it is probably not surprising that our most memorable adventure was the trip we took to Africa in 2016 to work at an orphanage in Kitale, Kenya. The experience was life changing and we knew the shared experience drew our hearts closer together than either of us thought possible.
What would you do with $20,000?We would invest in our families future by making sure our grandchildren, William and Leilani have investment savings accounts that will put them on a path that neither of us had access to as kids and young adults.
