How did your love story begin?

We met in a Springfield MA chatroom back in 2000. The members arranged a public meet up and that is where I (LuvRacn5) met Tom (Smoked8767). We kept it as a friendship for quite a while. I would go on dates and then go visit Tom afterwards. What a great arrangement for him. It was all good until I went rollerblading with a guy and Tom was like “That’s what you and I do”. We were married a month later. We’ve since traded in our rollerblades for motorcycles.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

As simple a question I find this the most difficult to answer. To narrow it down we agree that it’s a Halloween Party we had in 2006. We had just finished rehabbing a 12 room Historical Victorian. We were proud of the outcome with all of our blood, sweat & tears. We haunted out the entire home and invited 120 of our friends and family. We love looking through the pictures and videos. I had repurposed my actual wedding dress into a Dead Bride’s costume. I still wear that dress every Halloween!

What would you do with $20,000?

The earlier years of our marriage we would always prioritize our children and grandchildren. The past few years we’ve been fortunate to take a few vacations with friends. We’ve been itching to take a vacation with just the two of us. We haven’t done that since our 3 day Honeymoon back in 2001. Our work schedules are crazy and we can’t plan too far in advance. We want to randomly show up at the airport and hop on a flight to somewhere we’ve never been. No reservations/plans. Just let it happen.
