How did your love story begin?

Was invited to a friend’s birthday party. As I walked through the front door our eyes met. The most handsome man I had ever seen. We introduced ourselves and learned that we had so much in common. Enjoyed the evening and exchanged phone numbers. Two weeks of waiting he called me and asked if I wanted to meet for ice cream. I jumped for joy. I fell in love at that table. We have been together ever since. 32 years. We have been married for 11 years of the 32. My life and my rock forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many great memories. Some due to each of us taking care of the other through sickness but I think my favorite memory is our wedding day on September 23rd 2015. We had a beautiful little wedding out by our pool that we had decorated beautifully with many friends attending. Was a fabulous event.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would first of all donate to our local animal shelter and senior citizens home. Then we would plan a small vacation for ourselves to have a honeymoon if you will, since we really haven’t done any traveling due to each of us raising my two children full time and his on weekends when they were young. Then some sickness joined us both at different times so we just became home bodies.
