Connect How did your love story begin?

We met as teens and were inseparable from the start. Life took us apart, but 7 years later he found me on MySpace. One late-night, last-minute drive turned into us talking in his car until 5AM—and we’ve been together ever since. That night he met my son, and soon after we chose forever, getting married on July 30, 2010. Today we have four children together—his son (who we don’t get to see right now), my son who chose to take his last name years later, and our two beautiful daughters.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s hard to pick just one favorite memory because our life together is full of them. Our wedding day, the births of our children, holidays, birthdays, and all the small moments that turned into the big ones. From a late-night drive that changed everything to building a family together, every chapter has mattered. Honestly, our best memories still feel like they’re ahead of us—we’re just grateful we get to keep making them together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d finally take the kind of vacation we’ve never been able to have—time with our kids and time just the two of us. We’d also put something toward a truck and start working toward our forever home. More than anything, it would be about creating memories now while building a future we’ve always dreamed of together
