How did your love story begin?

Kim was married to my best friend age of 22-27. I was the best man and admired what a wonderful person she is. She often saw me date and would always say "She's not good enough for you." I was attending college at the time, and their home was on my way & would often stop. Tuesday 3/8/1988 I stopped as usual phone rang that Danny was in a car accident. When we got there, he was dying from internal bleeding. He put her hand in mine right before he slipped away. I call this day "Ruby Tuesday."

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We've been together 38 years, favorite memories are too many to list, but the birth of our first son Tommy, conceived on our first date and delivered almost to the day of 1st year past Danny's death. Now a college professor of Math. Then the birth of our second son Nick, our "St. Nick." Now the Lead P.A. of thoracic surgery in Albany. So favorite memory? Everything to do with raising them to fine people. Then the birth of Granddaughter in 2025

What would you do with $20,000?

6/27/17 Kim was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she is still alive thank God, it's been a constant fight. Hundreds of chemo sess, well over 7 surgeries, it has attempted to destroy our lives. But she's a fighter and we have so much to be grateful for and the children and granddaughter and future grand-children keep us going, and fighting. So 20k? probably a nice cash gift to the kids or a family vacation and a nice donation to cancer research. Thank you for hearing our story. Tip of the iceberg.
