Connect How did your love story begin?

Tom and I met March 31, 2013 at the White Party Festival in Palm Springs. It was my first time attending. Saturday, we just finished attending the pool party at noon, main dance event in the evening, and now it was the after-hours party that started at 2 AM. I was dancing with my friends. All of a sudden this guy started bumping into me nonstop. It was kind of annoying, but after a while, interaction became interesting. Introduced each other, and started dancing together. The rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The best memory was when he took me camping for my birthday. I will never forget the emotions that I had. It was the most amazing feeling of happiness that I’ve never experienced in my life. I had so much happy tears that Tom and I hugged and cried for a very long time cherishing that moment. He took care of everything from making a campfire from scratch, started collecting dried twigs and pinecones. I will never forget that day, April 20, 2013. I knew he was that guy I will marry.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would surprise Tom with a trip to Alaska and explore the 8 national parks in Alaska. Tom introduced me to the National Parks, we have been to 29 National Parks in the US. since 2013. We would like to fulfill this dream to go to all 63 National Parks in our lifetime. Tom introduced me to the outdoors, when you’re outdoors, you forget about everything. There is a sense of gratitude , calmness, and peace. It makes you think what your purpose in life is, that makes me very grateful every day.
