We met through a mutual friend group during our college years. Tom was actually a groomsman in my first wedding, he and his friend kidnapped me from my wedding reception and took me to a dive bar where we played pool. I was in my wedding gown and they were in their tuxedos. we had fun for a few hours then went back to the reception. Tom and I were always the life of the party having fun and hanging out with our friends. Later on our friends told us “we knew you would end up together”

We went to “The Elephant Bar” in La Jolla, CA (just as friends) and danced into the early morning hours during my NAVY nurse training weeks. We met our friends there and had the best times hanging out all night. Then we would all drive back home and return to our normal lives. These were special weekends, we still cherish those memories.

We would love to take a trip as a couple, have a proper honeymoon after 33 years of marriage and raising our now adult children. We want to travel to Italy and also Croatia. Our friends have shared pictures and stories of their trips, the places and people look and sound amazing!
