Our love story began with a phone call. Before cell phones were common, I went to a neighbor's house to use his phone so I could file an insurance claim for another neighbor. He kindly let me make the call, and after I left, he called his best friend and said, "I just met my wife. I don't know her name, but I just met my wife." Twelve years later, we reconnected, married, and built a beautiful life together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Traveling together in our RV. Some of our favorite memories weren't about the destination, but the journey exploring new places, sharing sunsets, laughing around campfires, and waking up beside each other with a new adventure ahead. Those miles on the road gave us some of our greatest stories and reminded us that home isn't a place it's wherever we're together.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we would build a tiny home on our property to provide safe, affordable housing for a veteran or a widow in need. Family, service, and helping others have always been at the heart of our lives, and this would allow us to give someone a place to call home while honoring those who have sacrificed so much.
