We met at a house party held by a mutual friend. He came up to me. He started talking and asked for my number, which was completely out of character for him. We ended up dating, but that same year I left for Boot Camp at Ft. Jackson. Mailed letters back-and-forth for about a year. He flew to watch me graduate basic training with my mother and little sisters.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? In 2013 my mother, grandmother, Todd and myself went down to celebrate my sister graduating college. We got one room at a hotel with two beds- cant remember if they were sold out or we goofed. After the graduation, my mother and grandmother went back to the hotel while he and I stayed out celebrating with my sister and her friends. Todd and I got back late, he ended up asleep in the bathtub ๐คฆโ๏ธ (because he’s such a gentleman, according to my late grandmother). Who absolutely adored him.
What would you do with $20,000?Home improvements, “U” shaped driveway, and a family vacation. Todd purchased the house in his early 20s, which happens to be next-door to the house he grew up in. It’s a ranch style home that could definitely use another bedroom and some storage. Using the money for an addition is also on the table. Family vote for sure.
