Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began 32 years ago in the most unexpected place—a local auto repair shop. We noticed each other but never spoke. A few nights later, she spotted him at a local nightclub, remembered him from the repair shop, and decided to say hello. The sparks were instant. It was truly love at first sight. Two years later, we were married, and 30 years later we're still proving that the Keeper of the Stars had a plan all along. Our wedding song says it best: "It was no accident, me finding you."

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It's impossible to choose just one memory after 30 years together. From our wedding day to raising five children and welcoming six grandchildren, every chapter has been special. We've celebrated life's joys and faced its challenges side by side, including both becoming cancer survivors. Through it all, we've laughed, loved, and supported each other. Our favorite memory isn't a single moment—it's the life we've built together and the friendship and strength we've found in one another.

What would you do with $20,000?

With five children and their spouses and six grandchildren, we would create even more memories with the people we love most. We'd plan a family vacation where everyone could be together, then maybe take a special getaway of our own to celebrate the love story that began 32 years ago. Maybe we'd find ourselves dancing on a beach somewhere to our wedding song, "Keeper of the Stars," grateful for the life, love, and family we've built together over the past 32 years.
