Married for 44 years a couple that prays together, we disagree from time to time but love always wins. Can’t imagine life without each
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
It’s kind of a mystery on when we first met. My baby sister and her were friends and my wife would often go to or visit the church. My family attended. A few years later, my wife was introduced officially to me by my mother who was the school registrar. My mother suggested I offer her a ride home. I did so, we had a chance to talk for about 30 minutes and the following day I wasted no time in asking my wife on our first date. We confessed to each other on our second date “love at first sight”.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?First apartment, racking the shag carpet so it would stand up and look pretty prior to company coming over. We walked the corners of the rooms until the first guest arrived. At every opportunity we would kick up the shag so it would continue to look fresh
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve really never been on a proper vacation in over 44 years of marriage. I would probably take my family on a vacation the remainder of the money we would use on our home we currently own and plan to retire in.
