We met at Tim’s going away party when he was moving to a new job in a different city. He danced with me all night at a country bar and never asked me out on a date. The next weekend we met again at the same bar and when I asked him to dance, he said he wanted to wait for more people on the dance floor because he was shy when sober.

This is a difficult one, as we have shared our lives for 30 years. One memory that sticks out is the summer of 2018 when Tim and his best friend planned a trip to Yellowstone for our two families, in our travel trailers. He planned every detail from where to stay among the way there, 3 days, to the activities. On our last night I asked about our route home and where we were stopping to sleep. He looked at me with the strangest expression and said, “We didn’t plan the route home”. Lol!!

I would give some to each of our small village churches we grew up in. I grew up in Truchas, NM, a northern NM town established in 1754 and Tim’s family is from Village named Torreón, NM which was established in 1841. Both villages have small quaint Catholic Churches in need of repair and restoration. I would also use some to visit the holy land or the Vatican as our marriage is built on faith and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
