How did your love story begin?

We had a typing class together and started passing notes in the hall. He forged song lyrics lol. It won me over. We became high school sweethearts and then broke up when I told him I wanted to date him and other guys (it didn’t go over real well with him). We got back together a few months later and have worked hard on staying together through lots of fun and hard times and just celebrated 37 years of marriage! We have four wonderful children and 2 grandchildren and 1 on the way!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We loved driving around in his 1969 light blue Monte Carlo with shiny wheels!! One night we were coming home from the $1 show and 2 guys started yelling out their car windows saying pull over. We pulled over and they wanted to fight because they said we pulled out in front of them. Tim was 6’2 but two against one wasn’t fair so I jumped out of the car slipping in my high heel boots on the ice at 5’0 and said okay we’ll fight you. They got in their car and drove away. What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve always wanted to go to France or rent a convertible and drive the pacific coast highway, see the Joshua tree, the redwoods and Alcatraz in San Francisco. Probably give the kids a couple hundred, pay a credit card off and put some money in an account for the grandbabies!
