Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began with a simple message, leading to a movie date and ending in a fairy-tale kind of love. Originally looking for a new friend, but after our movie ended we stayed talking four hours outside the theaters. He made me feel so safe and made me laugh nonstop that I honestly did not want it to end. Since then we have been completely inseparable! What started as something casual quickly grew into something deep and intentional. We genuinely love being around each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

A favorite memory we shared as a couple is of course our wedding day! We were so excited to become each other's forever, surrounded by all our close friends and family. Walking down the aisle with eyes locked on my husband, I felt the most blessed I've ever felt in my life. He was so nervous to be in front of a crowd but as soon as I walked in, I could see his eyes beaming with excitement. In that moment, everything else faded away. It was the beginning of our greatest adventure together.

What would you do with $20,000?

Big Bend National Park is a special place we truly cherish together. If given the chance to win $20k, we would purchase land out near Big Bend in Terlingua, Texas to eventually build our retirement home. Big Bend is an International Dark Sky Reserve and stargazing under that vast night sky is something we love doing together. It's peaceful, grounding and one of our favorite shared experiences.
