Four years ago, I met a handsome stranger in a vegan diner and instantly knew I wanted to know him. We struck up a conversation about our tans & tattoos, and our love for sunshine. I texted him after to invite him paddleboarding, and voice-to-text accidentally changed "paddle" to "cuddle"! I was so embarrassed that I invited this stranger to cuddle, but he thought it was cute. Looking back, it feels like the universe revealed what my heart already knew. That stranger became my soulmate!

Our favorite memory isn't a single day—it's the tradition of continually choosing each other year after year. We've been married three times, but our favorite was a barefoot sunset ceremony on the Mediterranean shore in Spain on the summer solstice. We gathered wildflowers and tied them with twine found by the sea. It wasn't elaborate or expensive—it was authentic, intimate, and completely us. We just renewed our vows again in Greece and are already dreaming about where we'll marry next summer!
