Our love story began around a bon fire night in Uganda, Africa! We grew up on opposite sides of the United States and as fate would have it, got accepted to be Peace Corps Volunteers at the same time. We got to know each other our first few weeks in country and one night at a bon fire, I shot my shot and held his hand and thankfully he reciprocated the feelings!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?This is hard because we had so many amazing memories while in Uganda. What really concreted us in was when we came back state side. We decided to do a road trip to meet the families! Mine in Tennessee and his in Idaho/Utah. We camped in national parks, dug holes to use the bathroom, stayed in a less than questionable hotel, and took in so many beautiful places! Every second we made it the best time! Learning how to adapt was key. Seeing new places with someone you love is a hard thing to beat.
What would you do with $20,000?Wow, with $20,000 I think we could split it up to do a few things. Pay debt off is always a big one, but I like to think we'd spoil ourselves finally with a little vacation first! We'd also love to put down some real roots and would be perfect for a down payment to get us started.
