Our first date revealed our families had been connected for decades. Invisible strings really do exist.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
It all started with an Instagram DM asking her to grab coffee. We talked for hours until she asked if I had siblings. When I said my sister’s name, Faithann, her jaw dropped. She knew her. Then she asked my mom’s name, and suddenly we realized our families had been connected for decades through lifelong friends. Before the date ended, we uncovered another family connection from over 20 years ago. It felt like fate had been introducing us long before we ever met.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memories are the new “invisible strings” we keep discovering. Every family story uncovers another connection. We love hearing about our late grandmothers and realizing how similar they were and we really feel they would’ve been good friends. Our families even swear there’s a childhood photo of us together somewhere. We’re still searching for it, and we can’t wait for the day it’s finally found.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use it to start our life together. My dream is to marry this incredible woman as soon as I can. The money would help us with our wedding, build a home together, and begin the next chapter without financial stress. We found each other through a lifetime of invisible strings, and this would help us turn that story into forever.
