We met through mutual friends in Culinary school and hit it off as friends! We had so much in common and grew closer as friends. I (Preslie) realized I liked Theodore more than just on a friendship level, so one night at our friends movie night, I grabbed his hand to hold and after that everything just clicked. We got together a month before COVID lock down, so our first few months were apart. We have made it 6 years even with the separation and we couldn’t be happier :)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Before we got together, we were hanging out at some dorm event with friends and Theodore had won a set of reusable straws. I have the video, but I just look over in the dining hall after he won them and he has two of them up his nose and two in his mouth. He tried to “drink” through all four.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, we would probably use it for our honeymoon and maybe even extend the trip so we could travel not only to Japan for a couple of weeks but other parts of Asia. As Chefs, we obviously love food but I think our favorites lean towards Asian influence so it would be really cool to see the different regions and see the culture with the food.
