Connect How did your love story begin?

We matched on 2 different dating apps and started talking. Found out we had separately been planning to go to the same concert that was both 2 hours away, AND for a very small band. I had never even met anyone else that knew this band. And the concert was the first one my wife had ever gone to. We met up at the concert and have never left each other since. We are now married and have an apartment together in the city.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory was the night of our 1 year wedding anniversary. We went out to dinner, and the server we had was awesome and so good at his job. He made our experience amazing even though we were there until close. Then we went to a gas station to get ice cream because it was really late and nothing else was open. We spent all night, talking, and just spending time together at that gas station. That was a magical night, that I will never forget.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would completely and utterly change our entire lives. We would be able to finally buy a house, and probably a fairly good one too. And that house would allow us to finally catch our breaths financially and allow us to be able to start fostering kids and teens as we have always wanted to do. We love each other so, so much. And we just want to share all of that love with kids stuck in the system that need it.
