Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began online when I was in North Carolina and he was in Rhode Island. The first day we talked was his birthday, and a simple "Happy Birthday" started it all. After three years of calls and texts, he drove 13 hours straight to see me. That leap of faith changed our lives forever. Today, 11 years later, we're married, raising three beautiful children, riding motorcycles together, and still proving that true love knows no distance.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple was on a cruise in a big theater full of people playing bingo. I had never played before, and he bought me the biggest package so I could join in. What stood out most was how much he actually enjoyed it with me checking numbers right along with me, and being fully present the entire time. I was just happy he was having fun with me, because a lot of husbands might’ve seen it as boring or gone off to do something else, but he stayed right there with me

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 to better our family experience and create more opportunities to enjoy life together. Our goal would be to set ourselves up in a way that brings more peace, stability, and ease to our everyday living. Instead of constantly stressing, we’d focus on building a stronger foundation making life simpler, more organized, and more enjoyable for our children and for us as a couple. It’s about creating space to breathe, grow, and truly enjoy the life we’re working so hard on.
