Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on a field trip Freshman year. Kaleigh danced with Lane’s sister on the drill team, so we sat together on the bus, and were best friends by the time we got home. Life pulled us in different directions after graduation, but when we found our way back together years later it was like no time had passed. We are best friends, and truly believe in soulmates.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many moments that we’ve laughed so hard we’ve had trouble breathing, over the smallest things. But a top memory is probably from our first date when Lane took Kaleigh out to walk through the Christmas lights. We rode in a horse drawn carriage and it was straight out of a Hallmark movie. Then we went back to our favorite coffee shop and bookstore, staying long after they closed in the parking lot laughing and catching up until our sides hurt from laughing. That day was so us.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 we could pay off the medical debt from infertility treatments and the birth of our rainbow baby. It would be a huge weight off of our shoulders and free up the path in front of us to breathe and enjoy our family without that worry of what it took to get there.
