Jack&Maris’ cousin,Mimi, had been friends since1st grade. As years went on, Jack was always around Mari’s family due to his friendship with Mich. They officially met in summer2012at a mutual party.When Jack first met mari he said to Mich who’s that&her response was “don’t even think about it.” Well Jack thought about it meanwhile Marilennis forgot meeting him due to being in a relationship & verbally stated just that to Jack when they met again yet Mari always dreamed of life w/Jack.

Our loved blossomed in 2022, after we both unknowingly ended bad long term relationships. In February ‘22, we were both invited to a mutual friends birthday trip to Cartagena, Colombia. On this trip we shared an honest conversation of fears, intentions& not wanting to ruin our established friendship. As the days in Cartagena went on, our chemistry became even more undeniable then before & we never locked back. This trip symbolizes a shift in our dynamic that we only dreamt of secretly for years.

There would be many dreams for the funds but it would ultimately be used intentionally and intelligently. Such as life planning for a family, investing/ supporting in Maris new business/private practice dedicated to mental health services for underserved people&finally philanthropic efforts in our beloved Dominican Republic where we got married & cherish as Maris family continues to reside there.
