I was working at a deli when this construction worker walked in wearing short shorts, a tanned glistening body and golden flecks in his brown hair. My brain short circuited like some love struck teen! I slipped a note under his sandwich and then hid in the back until a coworker said he was asking for me specifically to wrap up the rest of his sandwich. When I picked up his sandwich he had written his name and number. That night was our first date - more than 40 years ago. The rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many! We were in the hospital trying to speed up labor, getting very creative with our “natural techniques,” when a nurse walked in, took one look at the situation, and backed out so fast, we're pretty sure we made her reconsider her entire career path. Another one, we were driving. The kids were acting up and suddenly David's seat flipped back and he was driving! We all bust out laughing. There are so many more!
What would you do with $20,000?I'd take our whole family to Disney World for a week stay complete with hopper passes and create memories that would last our kids and grandkids lifetime's.
