Our love story began in the dreaded "friend zone." Samuel & I had known each other for years through college Jazz Ensemble, but we'd never really talked, & I had a crush on him. On our first date (that "wasn't-a-date"), we had so much fun. At the end of the night, we sang "Rainbow Connection" & both knew all the words. As he dropped me off, I told him I liked him; He echoed he was “just looking for a friend.” Well, our friendship turned into forever, & we haven’t stopped singing together since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is hiking the Glacier Gorge Loop in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. We hiked about seven miles to see several lakes & detoured to Lake Haiyaha. To reach it, we had to boulder across rocks over water, which made me nervous. I pushed through because of Samuel’s encouragement. He said, “I wouldn't want to miss the view.” He was right! We took plenty of photos during our hike & still look back on them fondly. We love RMNP & all the memories we've made there.
What would you do with $20,000?We would plan to save the money and put it towards our future home or possibly a newer car. We like to spend wisely and invest in what is needed as it comes our way! The $20k would be a great step toward building our long-term goals together.
