It's Valentine's Day, and I'm home alone watching "Millionaire Matchmaker", while painting my toenails and drinking wine. Could it get any sadder? I had been single for a while after batting zero over a lifetime and had pretty much decided it wasn't in the cards for me. However, after the host shared that she too was looking for love online, I thought, "If the matchmaker is looking, maybe I should too." I posted my profile, and my husband responded. He had me after the first paragraph!

As a wedding gift, a friend set up a romantic camping spot on her land to kick off night one of our "Road Tripping with The Victors" honeymoon. The campsite was absolutely beautiful! While Tony started a bonfire, I set up our sleeping quarters. No one told me not to hang a lantern in the tent. The evening went well until bedtime. The light had attracted one billion bugs and a few bats, who were having a feeding frenzy five feet above my head, in between the canopy and the tent. Mercy!

We both love a good road trip and traveling with our adult children. We've taken trips throughout the United States, but we haven't left stateside. So, we would love to host a European vacation! It still brings us joy to see them experience new things, and although most couples are looking for time alone, our favorite times always happen with the kids in tow. Whether it's a party boat in Chicago, riding scooters next to Tempe Lake, or ghost hunting in Charleston, we always have a blast!
