Although we didn’t start dating until our twenties, we’ve known each other since grade school. Knowing each other’s pasts came with challenges, but we chose to focus on our future instead. I embraced the role of stepparent, helping raise his four children through homework, birthdays, and everyday moments. He lovingly helped care for my disabled father. Together, we’ve built a life rooted in love, acceptance, and unwavering support.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?With everything we’ve done caring for others, our favorite moments are the ones we get to share alone. Whether it’s escaping to a quiet family cabin, stealing away for short weekend getaways, or even traveling with friends, we always make space for just us—because those moments keep us grounded, connected, and closest of all.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d spend some remodeling and settling into our forever home in Arizona, making it truly ours. We’d also take our first abroad trip just the two of us—something we’ve never done before, since our travels have always been with family and friends. It would be a chance to finally experience the world together, just as a couple.
