I believe my husband was heaven sent by my mom after she passed away. On our first date, every beer bottle we drank out of had her birthday
We would like to thank you for supporting The Van Pryors in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at a St. Patrick’s day parade through a mutual friend. He added me as a Facebook friend, and I messaged him to say how much I enjoyed meeting him. We started talking and never stopped. We had our first date, and every beer bottle we drank out of had my mom’s birthday stamped on it as the expiration date. She had died a few years earlier and I believe she sent him to me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory was our “second wedding” we had for our first anniversary. My husband is a civil war re-enactor, and I’ve fallen in love with the hobby as well. He wanted to get married wearing his uniform, but I said no. We had a special, short, 1860s ceremony in period dress, that was just us and a few of his re-enactment friends that are like family. I loved our fancy wedding day, but being able to give him the one thing he wanted and having a day that was just us made it more special
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it toward making our dream of moving to the Gettysburg area a reality. We want to start our own 1860s village experience and raise our own goats and chickens, etc. and teach others about living simpler lives like they did years ago.
