I was an International Flight Attendant, living on the other side of the country, about to get engaged to a different man. I told Mike (my best friend at the time), I was about to be engaged, and he said, "if I don't say this now, it will be to late... I don't want you to be his wife, I want you to be my wife." So I moved across the country the next week. We moved in together 2 weeks later, and have been together now for 14 years, & married for 7 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we first met, my husband drove me to a serene spot. We were on the side of the valley, in a field of wild flowers, overlooking the lake down below. He opened the back hatch of his jeep, pulled out a blanket and layed it down among the flowers. He started his music (which were all of our favourite songs), and we just layed there taking it all in until the sun went down.
What would you do with $20,000?I have recently retired from being a flight attendant, but we miss the wanderlust and adventures! I want to travel the world with the love of my life. Life experiences hold more value than money itself. They stay with you for ever.
