Francesco was diagnosed with cancer 3 days before our marriage in 2007, instead of a honeymoon we spent our time battling stage 4 cancer.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met at Beatles Festival in 2003 in Chicago from a shared interest in music. Tabitha's Aunt introduced her to her friend Francesco. From then on, we were together. We had a long distant relationship the first year together and traveled from St. Louis to Chicago to see each other. After relocating to be together and being together for 4 years, we were engaged. Francesco was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2007, and now it's 19 years of marriage later and 18 years of being cancer free.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When we went to visit Francesco's family in southern Italy in 2011. We spent 20 days in Italy and Tabitha was four months pregnant at the time with our daughter Adrianna. In Italy we saw a castle from the 14th century in Otranto with mosaic art tiles and a Salvador Dali exhibit. The food, the sea and countryside were unforgettable. Having our two children are our next favorite memories. Followed by successfully starting our own band and creating music together consistently is very rewarding.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay our medical bills and psychology bills for our child with autism. We would finally go on the honeymoon that we were not able to go on. We would renew our passports and get our children's passports. We would like to save a little to go on future vacations. We would get new tires on our cars. We would pay down debt to have more income for food and utilities during the month. Then pay for recording studio hours to produce one of our Alien Life Frequency spacefunk albums.
