How did your love story begin?

My brother and I took my daughter to visit and swim in the pool at apartments where my sister lived. Little did I know, my soon to be husband was there with his children that day. I remember telling my sister (while green with jealousy) that I thought he was flirting with her but that evening he told her that he would ask me out if I wasn’t married. She laughed and explained that was our brother! Next thing I know he asks for my number! I read that situation completely wrong!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have both lost a significant amount of weight so we decided to spend our honeymoon doing things we never dreamed we would get to do. Zip lining, white water rafting, roller coasters, giant drop swing! It was terrifying and at the same time absolutely amazing to experience all these firsts together. It wasn’t just the start of our marriage. It was finally living life with the love of mine.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have gotten to experience and been through so much together. Some good, some not so good. We have taken the kids on super fun (but nonstop busy) vacations. However, in order to make these things happen we work. Our jobs are different shifts and we see each other in passing. We get one day of a normal week together. We’ve planned and replanned and dreamed of new adventures for the two of us, but money, time and health issues have prevented it in the past. This could make that dream reality.
